We are pleased to announce that the transition to the new forum software has been successfully completed! There were only a few minor understanding issues, which were quickly and easily resolved. Since the transition, our admin has been working almost daily on the software, installing additional features, adjusting layouts, and much more to make the forum even more user-friendly.

For you, our members, this transition has brought a variety of advantages. First of all, security has been given even more focus. A reputable company is behind the development and maintenance of the software, which means your data is better protected. A particularly important feature is the introduction of two-factor authentication. This function is available to enhance the security of your accounts. However, it is important to note that this is not mandatory. Each member can individually enable this feature to ensure a higher level of security.

Another benefit is the improved maintainability of the software. Previously, our admin had to manually implement data protection features with each update in the old forum software, which could take hours. With the new software, updates are simpler and faster, meaning we all benefit from a smoother process.

The new forum software is not only functional but also much more modern in design compared to the somewhat outdated previous software. The look is now fresher and more user-friendly, making browsing and navigating the forum a more pleasant experience. The speed has also significantly improved, so everything runs much more smoothly.

A particularly useful advantage of the new software is the WYSIWYG editor (What You See Is What You Get). Creating and editing posts has become much easier. You can now enter text and immediately see how it will appear in the forum. Additionally, it is now very easy to add images to your posts—without any technical obstacles.

Another highlight of the new software is that you can now easily hide topics or entire categories that don't interest you. These topics will no longer appear under "unread posts." This keeps the forum organized, allowing you to focus on the content that is really important to you.

We have also integrated our popular Kniffel game into the new software, and we are excited to see that it has been well received. It's a great way to connect with others and have fun together!

Additionally, we have some more great news for you: We are currently integrating "push notifications." This means you will receive notifications, such as new messages in topics you follow or private messages, directly on your phone without the need to check emails. There are free apps available in the Android and Apple stores that allow you to use this feature.

The forum was transitioned in early December, and we are proud of the successful completion of this change. We thank you for your patience and support throughout the process, and we look forward to many more exciting and entertaining posts and gatherings with you.
