Out Rules

Board Rules

The rules of the Freizeitgruppe Bremen define the conditions for smooth operations, interactions among members, and the responsibilities of all members and guests.

Purpose of the Freizeitgruppe

We founded the Freizeitgruppe Bremen to create a platform where people from Bremen and the surrounding area can connect, meet, and spend some leisure time together.
This group is exclusively organized privately by us, Heike and Hajo. There is no association, company, or organization involved.
We privately bear all costs for servers, domains, etc.

Conditions for Registration and Participation

Anyone who fulfills the following conditions can register in this group:

  • Individuals must be personally known to us (the team) before activation.

Reason:
We want to keep the group manageable and personal.
This helps prevent participation by people no one knows, multiple account registrations, or inappropriate behavior where individuals hide behind anonymous profiles.

Anyone wishing to participate without being personally acquainted with us can attend our public events that don’t require membership (e.g., bi-weekly after-work meetups on Thursdays in Bremen, walks, etc.). You can find the list of upcoming public events on the portal page.

Each member is allowed to create only one account for personal use.

Couples are kindly asked to create separate accounts for each individual. This simplifies communication, event registrations, etc.
For example, it’s helpful to know who you’re chatting with in the forum or who is sending you a private message.
Separate accounts are also practical if only one partner attends or cancels an event.

Basic Rules of Conduct in the Freizeitgruppe

Interaction with Other Members

In this forum, we maintain a friendly, respectful, and polite tone.
Please treat other members the way you wish to be treated.

Our most important rules are based on the German Basic Law (Grundgesetz), summarized here in our own words:
In our group, all members are equal and should be treated as such by everyone.

Original excerpt from Article 3 of the Basic Law:
“No one may be disadvantaged or favored because of their gender, ancestry, race, language, homeland and origin, faith, religious or political views. No one may be disadvantaged because of a disability.”

For this reason, we do not tolerate racism, hate speech, or the denigration of people with differing opinions, beliefs, origins, skin colors, or sexual orientations.
